Happy New Year!
Dear TTU members!
I hope you all are doing well and had a wonderful Christmas. The time will never take a break, so now 2011 is already over and we go into 2012. This we have had good training and good events and we have published book No. 2. All these things are due to TTU members, club instructors and club boards, TTU elders ant the TTU board.
2012 is the dragon year - called im jin Jeon. Im means black, jin's dragon and Jeon's year. So that means the black dragon year. This year comes every 60 years. I heard from my mother - before she got me, she dreamed that there came a black dragon to her home. I was born in the black dragon years - therefore I am 60 years in 2012. I know there are others who has mastered the same as me - Svein Andersstuen 7.dan and of course some members of the same year as me.
Always when there is a New Year, all has hope for the New Year. I have too. For me it's a very special feeling that this year is the black dragon year - that is my 60 years. I wish all TTU members and clubs will be even better through Taekwondo training. Good health, both bodily and mentally so that you have the energy to reach their own goals.
We are now making book No. 3 - Poomse - which we should get ready for the summerfestival 2012. The book will contain both Taegeuk Poomse and TTU Poomse. This will be a great help in Poomse training to the individual – and for the instructors.
I also remind all Norwegian clubs to participate in the Federal Assembly 2012 to being determining the future of Taekwondo in Norway.
We have dreamed for years about making TTU's main building and in 2011 we were about to succeed through the Norwegian Korean Culture Center. We were a bit unlucky then, but believe we will succeed better in the coming year.
