Gyungdang Weekend in Lyngby

This is yet another unique opportunity to have some fun with the Gyungdang team in Lyngby Taekwondo Klub (Denmark). At this weekend event, we will get the opportunity to test wooden swords (bokken), long stick (180cm) as well as i real metal sword i combined with several exiting techniques.

 

When Week 46, Friday-Sunday November 13th-15th 2009
Who This is for everybody 15years or older.  There is no requirement in terms of degree of previous Taekwondo experience.
Indhold We will be practising using wooden swords and long wooden pole according to the principles of the ancient Korean martial arts sytem called Gyungdang. There will be opportunity to practise with real metal swords as well - this system is called Dobup and is a specialized Gyundang dicipline.

 

Because of the legal requirements, an official sword/weapons permit is needed for this optional part of the training. If you do not already have one, you can get an application at the local police.Bamboo matts can be purchased on site for realistic practise sunday practise sunday.
