1.Purpose

  • To cultivate the Kukkiwon Taekwondo master who is qualified for instructing the standard Basic Motions, Poomsae, and others.
  • Aiming at fostering the Poom/Dan Promotion Test Examiner who has the specialty and ethics in order to conduct the examiner fairly and transparently under the rules and regulations.

review and learn the Regulation of Promotion Test updates.

Disqualified participant who has completed the regular course.

 

 

  1. Online System
  1. International Master Certification candidates may complete both the Online Lecture and the Online Test for the Theoretical portion of the Master Course available at the WTA website (http://wta.kukkiwon.or.kr/en/)
  2. Only the Lecture and Test portion for the 3rd Class International Master Course is currently available. The 1st and 2nd Class Online Lecture and Test will be available soon.
  3. International Master Certification candidates who have successfully completed the Online Master Theory Course must still participate in full at the In-person Master Course.
  4. Those who passed the Online Test do not need to take the In-person Written Test.

 

4.Registration Documents

  4. Copy of Kukkiwon Dan Certificate
  5. Copy of 2nd or 3rd Class Master Certificate (1st or 2nd Class Master Course Candidates)
  6. Copy of 2nd or 3rd Class Examiner Certificate (1st or 2nd Class Examiner Course Candidates)
  7. Proof of Passing the Online Theory Master Course (3rd Class Master Course Candidates)

  1. Copy of Current Certification (Refresher Participants)
  2. Proof of Participation (Re-Test Participants)

 

 

5.Others

All participants shall bring the following:

  1. Dobok, training shoes, and writing instruments.
  2. Identification such as a Driver's License or a Passport.
  3. Proof of Covid-19 full vaccination or Proof of a negative Covid-19 test result.**

** Those who are unvaccinated must complete Covid-19 testing within 72 hours prior to arrival and be prepared to show a negative test result upon check-in.

** Those who are unvaccinated and do not have proof of a negative Covid-19 test result are ineligible to participate and will be denied admittance.

 

  1. Selection of the Participants

The candidates will be selected by examining their Taekwondo experiences and personal histories according to the regulation of WTA (World Taekwondo Academy)
