The Norwegian Martial Arts Federation's Coach 1 part 1 course

Offers to TTU members who are or will be instructors

TTU has many skilled instructors, but we can always further develop. TTU and The Elder Counsil have a desire and goal to increase the instructors' qualifications, as well as help new instructors to get a good start on their coaching career. We therefore sponsor large parts of Coach 1, Part 1 during the summer camp.

From the Martial Arts Association, it has been decided that at least one person should have a trainer's license in clubs with more than 50 members or where the majority of the members are children and young people. The requirement to fulfill / be granted a trainer's license has been completed and approved trainer 1 or 2 education. The requirement comes into force on 1 January 2020. From January 1, 2017, Norway's Martial Arts Association issues and registers coach licenses. Coaches who have completed courses in the period 2007 to 2017 may apply for a license until December 31, 2020. Coaches who complete the approved trainer training program 2017 will automatically receive a license.

The education will be a stamp of quality for the relevant coach and club, and is a recognition of his or her competence.
